“I first learned of NES from my Physical Therapist, who had experienced NES herself and who suggested that I might benefit from this treatment modality.

I have been working with NES practitioner Ellen Bowden in Freeport, Maine for five months now (a total of six sessions thus far). From the first time that I met and interacted with Ellen, I felt comfortable, safe and confident that I was in good hands. Ellen is compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and skillful. I would have to describe my experience with NES as a “process”. The symptoms which originally bothered me have changed considerably. I had chronic pain in my hip which radiated down my leg and numbness in my foot. That is mostly gone now. I don’t know exactly how or when it went away. But I do know that it was not a straight line I traveled to get to this point.

NES is a combination of physical treatment by the practitioner, while I lay on a massage table fully clothed, and liquid preparations which I take at home between sessions. I do not fully understand how NES works. It is not a linear process. At times I thought I was feeling better and at other times I thought my symptoms were exacerbated. Throughout the process I had a sense that change was occurring on a deep, cellular level.

What I find most fascinating about NES is the correlation that is made between physical symptoms and emotional states. A “scan” is done of the patient’s Body Field with a device
which is connected to computer technology and results in a great deal of information about the present-time condition of one’s body, mind and emotions. Areas of stress are identified and prioritized for treatment. Emotional states which correspond to physical symptoms are described in order to bring one to a deeper awareness of how the two are connected. This awareness is a primary component of one’s ability to release ingrained patterns of behavior and belief systems which are causing them stress and imbalance.

Over time I have come to appreciate the effectiveness of the NES system of healing. I am calmer, happier, have more mental clarity, less stress and an overall sense of well-being which has eluded me for quite some time. For this I am very grateful. I’m so glad that I have stayed with the “process”, because now, I definitely know that NES is working for me.

I recommend NES to anyone who has come to a place in their life where traditional methods of treatment have not been fully effective and one is willing to stretch their boundaries to embrace the unfamiliar. “Ellen Bowden, NES Practitioner, has been scanning and treating my now 4 year old son for five months. The non-invasive approach to healing is very appealing to me given my son’s complex medical history. Enzo was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at 15 months old and also has a severe speech delay. The two are not clinically linked however many children with his disease have difficulty with speech as it requires a very limited diet.

Ellen’s first scan of Enzo was very accurate. It highlighted problem areas that he has struggled with since birth but also other areas that had previously been ignored. After his first scan and treatment we began very slowly introducing infoceuticals that coincided with his scan. He became more content and overall he was much more present and connected to his surroundings and himself. The most obvious change in Enzo was his speech.

When we first saw Ellen his speech therapist was pretty certain she would diagnose him with Apraxia once he was old enough to be evaluated. Those symptoms and patterns in his speech have disappeared. This month she told me she will no longer even bother evaluating him for Apraxia. We have seen Ellen consistently for the last five months and Enzo has become much more open to her treatments with the miHealth device, even going so far as to tell her when he has felt enough. We have increased and changed the combination and quantity of the infoceuticals to match his healing and his scans.

After our most recent scan and treatment Enzo said his full name in its entirety effortlessly. We have worked on that in speech for weeks as part of life skills. The very next morning after seeing Ellen he just rattled it off when asked his name. He was extremely proud and we were blown away. Enzo began saying 3 or more syllable words without modeling as well.

On top of the major improvements in clarity of speech Enzo has become a great storyteller. He has been able to communicate his understanding of big concepts like time and whereabouts and feelings. This has brought him such joy and contentment. Enzo has also begun to eat more of his safe foods in different forms and to try many new foods. He is sleeping well for many many days even!

While we never believed his disease was incurable we had no idea where to turn. He was in so much discomfort and constant disarray we began to search for answers outside of the traditional medical field. We have hope that Enzo’s system and whole health will return to a healthy base and his body will process food without reaction and he will enjoy a typical life that does not require multiple medical procedures a year and daily medication.

I have seen Enzo become more balanced in every aspect. His energy, outlook, experiences and health have been so positive since working with Ellen. The change and growth he has experienced has been amazing.”
